Where I live, I deal with ticks on a weekly basis. used .

Where I live, I encounter ticks every week. Use it 100 times for me and my dogs. Just bought a few more. It works through an acute angle with an indentation carved into the spoon. Gets the whole body, including the head 95% of the time. Be sure to get antibiotics if the tick has been attached to you for a while (see webmd etc). I read that Lyme disease is terrible.

Pros
  • Good grades for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Long delivery time

I don't have to touch terrible things!

I bought two of these - one for the house and one for my purse. I've used the one I had in my purse many times - even once at church! I need to buy one for each of my family members to keep with me as we live in tick country. The thing really works and I don't have to touch those pesky mites. Yes! (Then we put them in a small "killing jar" with tea tree essential oil, or I've heard alcohol works too, and then added some tea tree where the tick was attached to the skin.)

Simple and effective

Benefits: Quickly removes mites from the head without damaging the head. Keeps ticks in place. Cons: Requires a little practice to use properly. crack and you need a toothpick-like object to fish them out. Other Thoughts: Many users say they can't remove ticks until they're fed, I haven't encountered that. I can remove new mites just as easily as old mites. The spoon, as I call it, is made out of cheap plastic, but it seems quite durable as the plastic is quite thick. It should not break unless

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Only attacks fat mites

Good idea but doesn't work on small mites. I recently drove my mite lab and had to remove 5-10 mites daily for a month. This device will not work on newly attached ticks. They are too small and too flat to grasp. Tweezers are best for new ones, and since they're new you don't have to worry as much about prying them out. They are easy to reach with tweezers before they swell. However, once the tick gets fat, this thing works great. Sometimes you still have to help the tick get into the "v", but…

Tick Remover Review

The last few weeks have been brutal when it comes to mites. We have two short haired dogs that live indoors but like to spend time outdoors, hiking and playing with the dogs (Ridgeback and Black Mouth). Although we spend a lot of time preparing them for mites before they take root, we still get a number of newly introduced, partially full and fully swollen. All small mites, not full sized dog mites. After looking at all the products available at Revain I decided to order a bunch. Tick Key…
