I did not find these curlers useful. I have low porosity hair which is why it takes so long to dry and this only adds to the time. I'm sure they're comfortable as permanent sticks and flex sticks are particularly uncomfortable for sleeping, but they work for me. I'm hoping this works for someone else who doesn't have low porosity hair, or at least someone is trying to use a hooded blow dryer since I only air dry my natural hair.

They did exactly what I expected them to do. They were easy to use and held my hair perfectly. My hair was blow dried and I quickly straightened it with a flat iron to straighten the roots first. I have natural curls 3a/b. I used a small amount of eco style gold gel to better fix the curl/wave. After parting and curling my hair, I used a hooded blow dryer and let it dry for a bit before wrapping my hair in a silk scarf to protect it and keep the curlers from slipping. Excellent hair roller HO. I had to rewind some quite a few times because the hair would slip out when I rotated the other sections. An attempt was made to use larger sections, but the thicker sections were not covered. I learned how to wrap a scarf around the section as I progressed to keep them in place and this is definitely a must if you sleep in it. wasn't bulky like i thought it would be. And the curls dried quickly and were beautiful.
