I use these collars on my kittens to tell them apart. I bought these because the colors were vibrant (which they are) advertised as super soft and comfortable. They are soft to the touch but firm when placed around the kitten's neck. They are poorly fastened with Velcro and gather under the neck. Very disappointed. The colors are strong, which is a plus.

I can say I'm shocked that it comes with so many collars and the variety of colors is amazing yes they are not super thick and probably can't be washed, but the price and the quantity - that's what made me buy it I'm not disappointed, there are 15 collars and each one is different shades, they are soft and not itchy. I'm glad I have them :)

I have raised kittens that had quadruplets. I couldn't tell them apart. When rearing, we have to weigh each kitten every day. This is how we measure whether they are actually getting milk. It was difficult to tell the kittens apart and keep track of their individual weights. This solved the problem. I was able to keep a record of traits because I knew which kitten was which.

I ordered these so we can tell our adopted kittens apart. They're long enough that I was able to use the extra length to give a visual clue as to who's who. Stubborn kittens may dislodge the Velcro, especially if it's not tight or there's an extra piece they can grab onto with their teeth or claws. The collars have lasted long enough for us to know who each kitten is and one of them is still wearing it almost 8 weeks later! Our dog had a litter of 8 puppies many of which were similar in colour, which I felt would make it more difficult when we were trying to figure out who should be eating and such. I saw these and thought they were a good deal for the price. It was. They don't last more than a few days without needing to be reattached and they get very dirty but there are enough in the pack so it's not a big deal.
