Unreliable and Inaccurate Cutter

Based on my observations, the Timber Tuff Forstner Cutter is a poor investment. It simply does not function as claimed. The only redeeming quality is its affordability, but that does not outweigh its cons. The cutter's inaccuracies and lack of durability make it a frustrating tool to work with. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for precision and reliability in their drilling tools.

Pros
  • Produces clean and precise cuts, even on hard woods
Cons
  • Requires a drill press to operate effectively

Missing parts on drills

I'm a carpenter and was looking forward to using it with students but when I took it out of the box the tenno cutter only had one blade so it didn't have a blade not work as smoothly as they should. But it still works.

Pros
  • Includes Forstner bits for drilling holes for easier furniture assembly; light but strong and durable easy to use
Cons
  • expensive

Dissatisfied: Power tool parts and accessories

Item is poorly made. The screws holding the blade are not hardened and the hex heads are easy to remove. Blades don't lock well even after multiple tightening. It might work better on pine, but don't try it on hardwood.

Pros
  • Powder coating protects against corrosion; Works like a large pencil sharpener and is easy to use. Attaches to an existing 1/2" or larger drill bit
Cons
  • Not Automatic
