Better than I expected

I have a Chevy Silverado 4-4 with a 3" front leveling kit that makes the truck look great when empty, but any weight in the back makes it big. front end. It solved this problem and also swayed greatly when I carried a heavy load. I can feel them being hit when I'm empty and going through a big bump, but it's worth not messing with the airbags. These worked better than I expected.

Great for towing an RV

I bought these to reduce sag and bounce off my 2015 Sierra 1500 when towing my 28ft RV. They work great and still offer a comfortable ride with no load and great stability when towing. The truck drives a little stiffer when unloaded, but it is hardly noticeable. The only time I notice a rougher ride is when going slow over big bumps, but not so hard that I would even downgrade it to 4 stars. I would definitely buy them again and am so glad I bought them instead of airbags.

Great product, great customer support!

Purchased for my 2019 Chevy Silverado. At first I was confused about the size of the screws included in the kit but after speaking to Steve at Timbren customer service he sent me a new set of screws to make sure I had the correct screws. I was able to easily remove the factory hinge and install the timbres. Fits great and provides the extra support I wanted to keep the truck from sagging with my attached trailer and boat trailer. Thanks to Steve and Timbren for a great product.

So far so good with air spring kits

Very easy to install if you have the right tools. The 2015 model requires a 10mm extension head to remove the factory fenders (which are flimsy and mostly useless) and a 17mm extension head to put in the new ones. I noticed the difference as soon as I rear loaded my 4 wheeler. No more sagging in the back. It must be very helpful when people shine bright headlights on me and think mine are on, when in reality the tail is too low. There are differences when driving. The rear doesn't bounce over…

Set and forget.

Easy installation. The day before she arrived I sprayed the opening with a PB blaster. Head 10 mm for alto and 17 mm for timbre. I used hand tools and found it easier to remove the tire since you don't have to lie on the ground. It took maybe 25 minutes. Towing and a 31-foot TT and I don't like whoops on the road. Update has done about 300 miles on TT boosters and they work great, definitely a bit stiffer under load. The only time I feel them with no load is crappy speed bombs on the road. The…

Poor driving when unloading, unsafe.

Timbren is the brand I usually recommend but this setup on my 2017 GMC Sierra is not what I expected. When driving with no load (most of the time) the ride is terrible. When driving over bumps in the road, the axle hits the bumper and behaves as if your truck is "flexing" sharply, causing a front-to-back pendulum effect. The installation corresponds exactly to the instructions and the distance from the bumper to the axle corresponds to the description. I thought maybe the shocks were starting…

Works as described in Air Spring Kits

Received these today and installed them in about 30 minutes. Most of the time was spent lifting each side of the truck. I would say it was a very easy setup. I took it for a test drive and on smooth and mostly flat roads, the ride quality didn't deteriorate; However, the second time I hit a speed bump or a deeper gully or something, you could tell the difference - they hit hard (as expected). A few times a year I tow a 33ft/7500lb trailer (fully loaded) and this year also bought a 2020 GMC…

Not for me but a good product for the right application

My 09 GMC Sierra (double cab/short bed) drives very well with no load or with my kids and dog in the cab. The problem is that using the truck as a truck (loading any substance into the bed) compresses the springs too much and the truck will crouch and roll around. In fact, a load of mulch or a foot of topsoil makes me drive bumpers. So I thought timbres would be a great solution to my problems. Increase payload without sacrificing unladen ride quality. That's why they're not the answer for me…
