Item returned. It didn't arrive on time and only had 8 of the 10 advertised inserts. This was a previously returned item. If you choose this particular package there are only 8. But the quality of the time is the best.

I have long used Time-Sert to restore/repair damaged threads, particularly on aluminium. These are the first metric I've used and they worked as expected. Perfectly restores and reinforces the threaded hole.

I am glad I bought this time sert kit. I like the inserts much better than Helicoil. I recut six holes in the BMW cylinder head for the valve cover bolts. The kit worked great and the new inserts held torque with no issues. I also purchased several longer inserts separately to match the thread depth of the existing holes. I highly recommend this set.

TIME-SERT is much better than Helicoil. More installation effort, but worth it. I've had way too many spiral coils that break or come loose easily. Since you're already recutting the hole, why risk doing it a second time or, worse, damaging it even more. Get it right with a time certificate and never worry again. Make sure the notch is cut deep enough if a flush fit is required, and make sure the thread is deep enough and your certificate short enough for a blind hole. Multiple lengths are…
