so simple and reliable

very reliable when used for nominal 35v so if you push to 48v (like i did or not) wear safety goggles in case the capacitors explode .

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • pretty much everything is fine

Great motor controller

Each motor controller can control two motors independently. Easy to use and meets the needs of your project. I'm using them for a tank controlled by a Raspberry Pi.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • too stupid

Works for my current needs

Only used one so far. However, it works as advertised. In the end you have to use the rest of the package. Seems cheaper to buy in bulk against each other unless you plan to use more than 1

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Ok for the most part, but...

They work. but they are cheap

All drivers in the package work 100%. The huge heatsink does its job well. However, the headers are of poor quality and some of the bolts wouldn't go in because they weren't threaded properly. Overall, it's still good value for money.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Negative impression

This might work best under Computers & Accessories

But I will never know because the documentation was 100% wrong. Every detail in the manual was the polar opposite of the documentation. I want to buy something from a company that doesn't just rely on their existing customers for support, specs, and guidance. Support your products. Contact your customers. post documentation.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Can I add something

What am I missing here?

No documentation, there is a jumper behind the Out2 pin, what is that for? I "assume" that ENA and ENB are enable pins, but what happens if you remove the jumper? Then we have IN1, IN2, IN3 and IN4 pins without jumpers, so what are they for? They are "probable" for a stepper drive, so where does the pulse go and what about microstepping? A little documentation will go a long way! Ralph

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

Strong, flexible and ready to go

It was a good buy. The blocks protect themselves well from overheating and overcurrent. They start generating a lot of heat when you hit the 1A mark. The cooler works well if you blow it with a small fan. It also offers the option to use or not use its 5V power supply, PWM pins, etc. It has logic protection against pulling forward and reverse logic pins simultaneously (although both are connected to the +-rail grid to zero differential). It has rear EMF protection diodes to ensure power return.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • not strong
