came out of the box rusty. it is not a small surface rust. it's pretty deep. I don't install such parts and I don't even try to clean them. I'm not sure, but it looks like a used part or a return from someone else. not happy about it at all. Thank you very much

I specifically ordered Timken because of their reputation for quality. Bearing and assembly have been working great for over 6 months now. Somehow a wheel bolt broke off while driving. Just received 2 of these bearings/hubs with internal and external grease seals and new dirt flanges. I personally installed these Timkins in both spindles that will be installed in my Corolla 98 on 3/16/2016. Here is my take on installing a bearing in a spindle.
