Timken SET20 Bearing Set Review

Perfect fit and quality product you have come to expect from Timken. This Set20 was intended to replace worn out tapered roller bearings on the 9" axle of my '79 F100.

I liked the price, quality and efficiency. Offer where the bearings are made. Chinese warehouses can be suspicious, and Timken has a factory in China.

Planned return when "CHINA" is DONE. Lucky for me the box says Made in USA and worldwide but the important part (stock) is USA. I WANT TO SEE ALL USA. I'm satisfied, I will install.

. Used it on my 1979 F-150; half the price charged by the local 4x4 shop. For a good brand genuine part you can't beat them - they may not be the strongest bearings for serious off road use but for the small price they will work fine for 99% of us.

Direct replacement of the bearings on my Dynatrac ProRock 60 rear axle. I had to do this as the holder was already pressed into my axle and didn't need to be replaced. The clearance in my application was VERY tight and required every ounce of the 20 ton press to properly seat the bearing and ring. With the right tools you can get the job done as this kit has everything you need. The bearing also comes pre-lubricated, although I added more just in case.
