Don't waste money like me.

If your axle is good, buy replacement bearings and seals instead of repairing bearings. If you have the money go with an axle replacement and new bearings, I damaged my slide hammer beyond repair trying to remove these things, let alone destroyed these bearings.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty & Commercial Vehicle Parts
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Purchased for GM 10 Limited Slip Bolt. As other sources say: It will protrude about 1/4 inch from the axle housing. I couldn't put the C-Clip back in after installing it. Others said it would work, but not for me. I might be able to hammer the C-Clip in, but I didn't want to have to try to take it off later. Bottom line: use standard replacement bearings and seals. If your axle shaft is worn out: replace it.

Fits perfectly! Make sure you're looking at the spring side.

I asked the seller if this Timken bearing repair kit would fit my 2002 Ford Crown Victoria, they said yes. So I ordered two! One for each side, you can use both sides, why bother! Fits perfectly! Make sure you are looking at the side seal of the spring and half of the o-ring inward. I added some extra bearing grease just because I thought it was a good idea. I'm a car mechanic and I recommend them. Good product. After shopping I decided this was the best price I could find. Old stock bearings…
