Maybe it took 6 months?

At least I find 11 tires read exactly, #12 read like 40#. I wanted 36# so I released some air, rechecked the 40# gauge, blew some more and still read 40#. Went to my cheap battery powered gauge, tire #12 now reads 34.5#! Now I have to go back and check all the tires with a different gauge. !2 tires, 6 on the motorhome, 4 on the towed vehicle and 2 on the tow truck.

Pros
  • Simple tuning
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Easy to hold and use

This is a very good gauge. The dial is very easy to read and the gauge is big enough to hold easily. My only concern is that the stem mount is too big to test the front tires on my 2008 Sprinter-based Navion iQ without removing the hubcaps. However, I haven't found any other tire gauge that can do this. This is by far the best standalone sensor I've found.

Stops working after 7 or 8 uses

I bought this sensor to use on my water carrier, with all the good reviews it seemed like a good choice. I really liked it when I received it, it was accurate and easy to use. I love the hold pressure feature for accessing the inner tire on dual wheels. You put it on and then take it out to make it easier for you to read the pressure in the light. One thing, however, he seemed to lose a few pounds after taking it off the valve stem, but that was close enough. However, tonight he has decided to…

I've tested it on some of the best

I have a 5 wheel camper and experienced a flat tire that caused over $3,000 in damage. I think the problem was an improperly inflated tire. The tire gauge I used was from a local store and I only paid a few dollars for it. I felt like the sensor was failing me and I needed something reliable, so the readings I looked at when I checked my tire pressure were accurate. I bought this unit and found it to be as accurate as any professional mechanic in their shops. I tested it against some of the…

A damn gauge.

I wonder if I'm spending too much money just for a pressure gauge? Anyway, in this case I defiantly got what I paid for. Significantly better than any tire gauge I have ever owned or used. Massive truck tires 22 inch and 120 psi. The stored pressure reading is a few psi lower than when you push the valve stem, but it is stable and will hold that reading for hours after you take it off the tire. (I forgot to depressurize after use.) Spins so easily I wonder how they made the seal. Continuous…

Good Caliber: Tools and Equipment

I finally got a chance to try Tire Caliber. 75psi As you know, many of these sensors are in terrible condition and of questionable accuracy. My new sensor has met all my expectations. It is easy to use and reaches the inside of the double valve stem very well. The sensor function allows easy and quick reading of the tire pressure, no matter where the valve stem is located. A knob on the stem makes it easy to depressurize each tire, ensuring all tires take their share of the load. Overall, this…

Best for Interior/Exterior Dual

TireTek Truck-Pro Dual Head Heavy Duty Gauge Review - 160 PSI This gauge has a straight tip for the inner rim and a beveled tip for the outer rim. This is the first sensor that has worked on my high performance dual rims. Most of the gauges I saw in stores were elbows or flexible hose that didn't reach the inner and outer rim valves anyway. I always lost a lot of air when checking the pressure. I ended up at a gas station (on a large oil rig) with a straight air chuck similar to the tips on…

Everything you need in a high performance tire gauge.

Such a great company. Even before the delivery, I received a nice email from the co-founder of this company. Thank you for your purchase and please leave my review. You don't hear that anymore these days. And I appreciate that they value me as a customer. I have given feedback. As well as a few suggestions for improving the product. And I get a reply email saying they thought my suggestions were worth revising. And they will implement these changes in future production runs. Nothing special…
