I bought these to use when I forge the right weight and size for a couple of nights to get the steel to the size I need need so night time is the only thing i wear i don't like it so it's a rubber mallet in a room and i don't see much use for night work with it but i use it at my campsite so i can set the stakes for my lightweight canopy easier to stake into the ground and also so I can stake mine outside of the kitchen
These hammers are made to the quality you would expect, not a professional tool cart but a premium DIY/DIY quality. Overall, the feel is pleasant and vibrations are well absorbed. That being said, I've used the rest on a daily basis for things like banging out U-joints or banging pickle forksβ¦
