Description of 620 LB SurvivorCord: The Ultimate Type III Military Parachute Cord with Fishing Line, Wire, and Waterproof Fire Starter

Proprietary Nylon / Polyester Blend. Exclusive Patented Paracord - Originally designed at the request of Special Forces in Afghanistan, our SurvivorCord is a 620 LB tensile strength paracord that integrates 3 life-saving survival strands into TITAN's trusted MIL-STYLE 550 Paracord. Available only from TITAN Survival, SurvivorCord is protected by U.S. Patents 9,528,204 & 9,926,652. There simply isn't a better paracord available. Mono Fishing Line - Includes a single transparent, 25 lb. test, high strength mono-filament fishing line that can be used when critically needed food is just yards away. This filament can also be melted and used to patch holes or used to bind tools together. Waxed Jute Fire-Starter - Our proprietary, waterproof, twisted jute fiber strand is designed to quickly start fires in an emergency. This is the best fire-starting strand on the market. Even in a downpour, a couple sparks from your favorite SurvivorSteel or ferro-rod, and you'll have an instant fire. Multi-Purpose Wire - Our proprietary 30 AWG metallic alloy is strong, conductive, and non-magnetic. Perfect for small snares, HAM Radio antennae, camp-fire food wraps, and any other ingenious survival ideas that you can think up. The Only Paracord You'll Ever Need – Trusted by outdoor aficionados and military units worldwide, SurvivorCord is designed to replace any and all parachute cord in your backpack, vehicles, or emergency kits. It is stronger and more functional than normal MIL-SPEC paracord and seals just as easy when cut and used. Invented, patented, and sold by a service-disabled U.S. Army Combat Veteran.

Expensive for production in China!

I love how this cable looks and feels. The cord looks well made. Haven't used it yet so I'll update the review when I do. Why three stars? Two reasons. I was disappointed to learn that it was "responsibly" made in China. I don't know what that means, but for the price I was happy to pay, I expected a product made in the USA. Of course, I'm not very good at making something like this in America, but I have a pretty good idea of the price difference between the same thing made in China and the…

Like a few other people

Like some other people, I was a little wary of the wire in the cable at first. How many times can you bend it before it breaks? Well, when I got this cable, the first thing I did was cut off a few feet and started testing. Test 1: Knots I took about two feet of string and tied it with many knots, untied it, tied it again, and so on and so forth. My wife looked at me like I was crazy, but that's okay. The cord, particularly the conductive wire, withstood about an hour of knotting and untying…

Unique multipurpose paracord. And at a great price!

WOW. These guys nailed it. The first time I saw anything different in the boring paracord shop was when I bought "Firecord", awesome stuff. But it's quite expensive (even at wholesale price). There is a flammable filament inside the fireproof cord and so far this has been the ONLY 550 cord that gives you something special. THIS MATERIAL WILL MEET YOU! This TITAN "SurvivorCord" goes beyond that. This is a 7 layer EDC (Every Day Carry) paracord cake. I would call it a 550 cable, but it's stronger

This stuff just couldn't get any better - figuratively and otherwise!

Let me start by saying that I bought a 103 foot cable and two years later I still have more than half of it. It's wrapped around a lousy trench shovel; I slashed with the back of my axe, poking through the dirt, using the short tongue slots on my pouches and EDC pouches. on a zipper for wallets. I have it lowered into the wire rod ventilation shaft; It doesn't stick, it snaps plastic ties easily, it routes wires between channels, welds them back together with a simple torch, and gets back to…

Cool theoretical product, not a great paracord

NOTE. I have NOT used this product due to its survival properties. This product has many great reviews. I suspect it's mainly due to the amazing internal performance of the product. However, I hope I can offer a word of caution that this is not a very good paracord. I used some of these to make a continuous ridge line for my tent/tarp for my hammock campsite. I thought it would be really cool to have extra "survival threads" right up my spine that are always available if something happens…

I haven't seen anything better.

This is going to be a long review but I was impressed and wanted to be thorough. First I wanted to thank Jarod and Shannon on Titan. I had some questions and concerns which they resolved very quickly and very professionally. The first email I sent them with a question was before I had the cable and they responded to my email within hours. I have worked with other salespeople at Revain but none have been as prompt, honest and friendly as Jarod and Shannon. They have made my future business every
