Best plug-and-play solution for streaming media players

Replaced my old Actiontec router that came with FiOS with a mesh system and needed a MoCA adapter to communicate with my TiVO boxes. This adapter provides the MoCA network and works out of the box with TiVO.

Pros
  • Seamlessly connect all your TiVo devices to your coax or Ethernet home network with the TiVo Bridge plus, offering combined speeds of up to 1Gbps in both directions .
Cons
  • Very expensive

Significantly improved over the previous model

If your MoCA network supports gigabyte speeds, you must upgrade to this version of the TIVO MoCA Bridge. This makes a big difference in network speed.

Pros
  • Get full access to all your recordings, Live TV and built-in apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu and more.
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Simple MOCA network for TV and video

I bought this to build a MOCA network, not for use with Tivo. It was $35 cheaper than its unbranded Tivo version (see for yourself), but it works great! I connected two Actiontech WCB3000N adapters to it to get ethernet where I need it and one for wireless extension. All in all, I expanded my network in less than 30 minutes and for less than $100 with no wires to lay! If you're looking to build a MOCA network, I recommend this device if it's cheaper than the Actiontech version. Works pretty…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

"Fixed " my broken Ethernet Mini

I had a Mini that lost Ethernet. Unfortunately, you can't add a USB Ethernet adapter to the Tivo Mini (at least I couldn't get it to work). That's why I had a broken Mini. Entry. I received this device (and the "filter" recommended by Tivo). I installed it (I installed it next to my cable modem/wireless router). And used the existing coaxial cable on the Mini. It works. So I "fixed" my Mini so it could be used again. Well I was using alternate ethernet delivery so it's working again. I used…

Pros
  • Builds Confidence
Cons
  • Unfashionable
