I'm working on this kit at the moment and I have to say the photo doesn't do it justice. It's amazing. As it is broken up into blocks it is easy to count, but the 16 x 20 size makes for a delightfully complex large finished work. If you screw it up, it's not hard to go back and fix it. I am impressed!

It was fun to embroider, but the pattern was very difficult to read. I had to contact the company to send me enlarged diagrams so I could see the colored icons. They immediately sent new graphics, but in some cases it was still not possible to see the icons. I just had to guess what color to use. It will be very impressive when finished. Note: I replaced my favorite lighthouse (Sanibel Lighthouse) in the lighthouse section. My son drew the design for me.

I agree with what Barbara said earlier: the photo doesn't do this piece justice. The colors are wonderful, and while they're bright and fun, there's a lot of subtle shadows that need to be done in some of the larger sections. It is not difficult to work with the Aida from the set, the floss is good, not poor. I had no problems with the chart, but I made a copy of it because I folded and re-folded it.
