The quality is very bad. Couldn't use Aida's napkin as it's very uneven. The thread was also of poor quality.

I started out embroidering and was impressed that the colors in this kit are presorted and numbered unlike most kits I've had in the past. However, I've come across a few threads so far that only had five threads instead of the usual six. Fortunately, this was still enough to end the color cast. Although the kit includes a backing fabric for making stockings, I plan to use a different fabric for finishing stockings. This pattern has many shades resulting in many color changes, but the reverse stitching makes the pattern stand out. Gold metallic thread is a little tricky to work with as it tends to slip. The pattern is small but I printed it out on a printer and copied it enlarged to mark the stitches I made. Colors are not as bright as shown. The template sheet is mostly clear, but there are a few characters that are a bit harder to read. Gold metallic thread is a nightmare to work with. I fell out a few stitches while working, so I ended up ripping out all the stitches with this thread and finding different colors to use instead depending on where the stitches were.
