Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

Its pros: Sorry, there is nothing to add like the fact that I became the happy owner of the object - and so there are plenty of comments without me ! Its cons: The only drawback when recording video is that the auto-focus motor itches a lot, which is audible during playback !

The perfect product for any user!

For a long time I wanted to buy something extra wide-angle for shooting landscapes and architecture. I considered different options, initially I wanted to take Tamron 10-24, but then I found out about Tokina, and having studied the advantages, the choice fell on her. The lens is quite expensive, but believe me it's worth it! Of its main advantages, first of all, it is a constant aperture of f / 2.8 at all focal ranges. And most importantly, the lens is sharp immediately at this aperture, even…

Pros
  • 1. Viewing angle 2. Constant f / 2.8 aperture over the entire range of focal lengths 3. Sharpness from an open aperture across the entire field of the frame 4. Good color reproduction, contrast 5. High-quality, reliable design 6 Made in Japan
Cons
  • 1. Autofocus sometimes misses 2. Expensive filters for a diameter of 77mm 3. Not enough cover included

Great lens. GREAT value

Are there better broadband models? Yes. Of course. Are they 2-3 times more expensive? YES SIR. I think this lens is exceptional and I've actually landed a BIG deal since the new Mark II came out. The Mark II version (unless you're a Nikon photographer) did nothing but add a special anti-reflective coating to reduce glare on digital sensors, which the film wasn't as sensitive to. Big Scream. Buy a B&W or Hoya with digital cover http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BH5OW6/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i0…

FICTION! Looks like you're taking newspaper or magazine quality photos

The effects this lens had on my photo were wonderful. Suddenly my photos took on a whole new dimension with a really shiny magazine/newspaper quality. It's a bit pricey, but if you can afford it, I highly recommend jumping on it. This is enough to achieve a wide-angle view, almost dissimilar to a wide-angle view (it doesn't look like a fish-eye effect), looks natural and right! An extremely wide-angle f/2.8 lens that works well in low light. The images captured with this lens are clear and of…

sharp as nails and built like a tank

This is a stunning full frame ultra wide angle lens. The aspherical and special glass also helps to pack everything into something portable. It's solidly built and has a very smooth focus and zoom. A little heavy, but doesn't bother. There is no barrel distortion here and I actually had to place the subject in a contrasting situation in the sun to see any chromatic aberration at the edge at all. Other photo reviews say it's sharper than the Nikon and Canon versions, which I can believe. Canon…

Large Wide Angle Lens for Crop Sensor Cameras

Over the last few months, my passion for photography has increasingly found its way into my professional life. As my skills developed, the benefit of using photography to highlight some of my clients' work became a compelling selling point and added another aspect to the list of services I can offer them. However, the transition to indoor photography also brought new challenges due to the current limitations of my equipment. A wide-angle lens is essential for this type of photography. Even…
