I had to replace the inner plastic fender liner on the driver's side, I had to remove the factory plastic rivets to remove the plastic fender liner, to do this, once they are removed you will need to replace them with new ones. Bought for only 1 job. To install my new front splitter for my Corvette. I've had no trouble getting it to work, and I've had no trouble with cut pins getting stuck in the gripper cylinder. But I suspect some of the issues others have reported are due to the size of the plastic rivets used. However, I had no such problem.
