Good Results: Power & Hand Tools

I like the steel shaft to grip, but it was easy to hit the edge of a nail during the demo. If used in a wood workshop it would be perfect. Not under construction

The metal cap broke and fell off after 1 day.

Metal cover cracked and fell off after 1 day of heavy use. Accident? I could have said yes if I hadn't switched to 1.5" and after a few hours the metal cover and plastic broke off. Not to use with a hammer?

  • Extra-large percussion cap withstands multiple hammer blows and can be attached at multiple angles. Anti-splinter acetate handle for added durability.

Maples High Impact chisels are a must have in my tool kit.

Maples High Impact Chisels are a must have in my tool bag. Used in all stages of framing and really durable. There have been other chisels, including other Irwin chisels with "shockproof" handles, but they have not stood the test of time. Marbles are made for the core.
