I bought this a few months ago but have only recently started using it. As someone who curls my hair on a daily basis, I was not impressed with this product. Yes, I have very thick hair. However, this iron does not heat up as it should. Because of this, the curl fell out completely in 20 minutes. I usually use a gold plate for hot instruments and it works MUCH better. Because this one was more expensive I thought it would work better but I was wrong.

Gets hot and frizzy. The handle is easy to manipulate and becomes my go-to when I'm having a bad hair day. Makes big curls and shines. I can control the heat with a little switch above the knob and it doesn't have an auto shut off (which I like). I would buy it again but something tells me I don't have to. They even include two extra pieces of spring (which I didn't need) in case the spring comes loose from hanging or pulling too hard. * a spring that allows the claw to open and close.

I always loved how my stylist could curl my straight hair in a wave and it lasted a few days. I've used the same products and methods as him, but I've never managed to make my style last as long.
