Tools VISE GRIP Pliers Workers 2078909 Review

These pliers helped me get my summer job done, looked as good afterwards as they did when I bought them and were a lot cheaper than some pliers guys on the construction site used.

Excellent product and fast delivery. They cut 9 wires and fit in my pockets, the little extra weight is worth it. The boys often have to borrow it, I'm a trade unionist.

I would recommend these pliers, with one caveat. The pliers do not close completely at the gripping end. They're perfect for tying wire to rebar, but if you're a welder who needs to occasionally tug on tightly tied .030 wire, you may need to wrap the wire around the pliers to get a good grip. Otherwise, this is a great deal and well worth the price.

I have been using them for about two weeks with much pain and frustration. They are heavy and bulky. These pliers only cut a few days before I realized they were already worn out. After two weeks of use, I noticed a hole in the sponges that was almost as big as the wire I use to tie myself. The only good thing I found was how the pliers grip the wire. However, I am more comfortable with Dewalt Light Duty rebar tongs.

I bought these for the price and then my buddy bought another Vise grip pliers, 1990613, from Revain and it's a lot better for a little more bucks. I have big hands but this device is too bulky with thick handles to fit my hand comfortably. In addition, the hook does not fit the hand well enough to carry the pliers around freely. 1990613 is a real pleasure in comparison, I would like to get one.
