I bought these for cleaning a sewing machine on the recommendation of a sewing teacher, I threw two pieces in a suitcase - I have to unscrew the whole suitcase to get them! For everyday sewing machine cleaning, I prefer pipe cleaners because they last longer and are easier to hold!

Works great! The medication I use is liquid and quite expensive, so I didn't want to use anything that would absorb too much medicine. just enough to use it. They are perfect for that. If I need more, I will order more of these. They are reasonably priced and also allow me to use all of my meds without wasting super absorbent tampons that go to waste. It was a wonderful find.
