We really needed light in the pantry in the kitchen (there was no light since the house was built). We were considering hiring an electrician for the lighting but were recently visiting a friend who had a similar lamp in her closet so we decided to search Revain to see what we could find and came across this product. After seeing the reviews we bought and couldn't be happier. Installation was quick, easy and hassle free. We saved HUNDREDS by not hiring an electrician. We plan to buy a few more.

I have a very dark hallway in my apartment. I bought him a bright version of this lamp but he was too bright, especially at night when he was waking up to go to the bathroom. I replaced it with this one, but it's a lot more sensitive than its counterpart, and it's been found to be on when nobody's around. So it's been over 2 weeks and the batteries are almost empty. Type D batteries are too expensive, so this flashlight is being relegated to a wired version that I can plug in when they run out.

I needed a shower light as it's very dark in there but as everything is tiled I didn't want to connect lights so I bought this instead hoping for a simpler solution and it's perfect , it works as hoped, now my whole shower is lit (see product video for my video). This light works "too well". I bought it to light up the stairs to our basement. It's blindingly bright, so bright we had to cover it with paper to diffuse the light. The motion detector is super sensitive, so it works even with the basement door three-quarters closed if someone even enters the next room. That's in daylight. After 5 months of using these lamps I would recommend them for spot lighting in closets, utility rooms and anywhere you need light but cannot easily run on electricity. In another review, someone said they wouldn't use them to light up an entire room. I agree - even if it's a small room.
