Great for marking fabric.

I've made about 1900 masks and use the chalk to mark my cutting lines. They came all in one piece.no broken pieces. The colors are nice, quantity great, and easy to hold.

Pros
  • Durable construction for long-lasting use
Cons
  • Can be difficult to remove completely from the fabric after use

product box was damaged, one piece was broken, quality seems okay, the chalk is hard, I haven't used it on may fabrics so I don't know how easily I t will mark.

Pros
  • Can be used on a wide range of colors and textures
Cons
  • Can break or crumble in the middle of use

Too hard to be used on softer fabric

Extremely hard material. It doesn't leave a visible mark on knitted yarn even when pressed too hard multiple times and risking damage to the fabric.

Pros
  • Ideal for both amateur and professional tailors
Cons
  • Can melt or warp if left near a heat source

Crumbles in your hand

They crumble in my grip-a very gentle grip! You cannot put any pressure whatsoever on the units of chalk as the will break or crumble into small pieces. My first time using this type of chalk so I don’t know if all chalk is like this or not but I won’t be trying this brand again that is for sure.

Pros
  • Helps enhance precision and accuracy in measuring and stitching
Cons
  • Can be difficult to see on printed or patterned fabrics

Distinct easily removed line

Although it does break if you use too much pressure, it leaves a distinct line which is easily removed. Don't throw away the pieces. They come in handy for harder to get into places. You get a large supply of different colors. For me, it works better and I don't need to keep sharpening pencils.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Wax-based formula may be difficult to remove from fabrics

Giant guitar picks for my opinion

I don't think this was right. The chalk was very dry and smooth and almost felt like a giant guitar pick. It didn't act like chalk and I couldn't get it to produce color. I'd rather use markers

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • May not work well on fabrics with a busy or intricate pattern

Love these on my review.

These are great for tracing patterns onto myFabric. I love the chalk better than fabric pens because those pens dry up so fast. The quality/quantity of the chalk is great for the price.

Pros
  • Perfect for marking darts, pleats, and pockets
Cons
  • Can be hard to handle or grip

Works but very fragile

Works as intended but three of the chalks came broken and you have to be careful to not break them while using them. Ultimately this improved my sewing but I think I will go for the pens next time.

Pros
  • Helps keep fabric accurate and consistent during sewing
Cons
  • Can break apart during shipping or rough handling

Nice packing on my review.

The box is small. The product is divide by thin cardboard with ridges. It's packed tight we're you have to literally have small finger to get it and not one was broken. I like how they packaging is tight, divide, and a little cushion to keep it from breaking.

Pros
  • Can be applied to temporary marking of pattern or designs on fabric, Easy to apply on any fabric, convenient to use, can be removed by dipping in wate.
Cons
  • Wax may melt in hot weather or if heated during use

Tailor’s chalk: my feedback

I’ve never used tailor’s chalk before but found this easy to use. It. Broke apart more than I was expecting but nothing too maddening. I was able to use it for what I was needing

Pros
  • Can be used for marking quilting projects
Cons
  • May not work well on fabrics with a blocked or rigid structure

Excellent quality and value.

This chalks have been a very happy purchase. The manufacture provides a very protective packaging and all 12 chalks arrived in perfect condition. I really like the color variety in the box which is suitable to diverse fabric colors. It easily slides on woven fabric and can make thin marks with precision. Also I was able to wash it out just wetting the fabric with water; I did not need to use any soap. I definitely recommend these chalks.

Pros
  • Can simplify and streamline the sewing process
Cons
  • May require extra care or attention during use to prevent mistakes or errors

You get what you pay for.

Package came preopened and the pieces broken it had to have happened before it was put into the mailer because the missing pieces weren’t in the bag I imagine it will still work fine just subpar quality but you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Sewing Notions & Supplies
Cons
  • Wax may rub off onto clothing or surfaces during use

Good product, poorly packed for shipping.

This chalk works great. With three colors, I can always find one that shows up on my fabric. It brushes away easily when I'm finished sewing. My complaint is that the supplier made little attempt to ship the product in a way that would protect the pieces from breaking. Two of mine were broken into half-inch pieces, and all but two of the others had chips broken off.

Pros
  • Marking & Tracing Tools
Cons
  • Can crack or break if dropped or mishandled

Great value! for my opinion

Amazing product that has made sewing so much easier and you can't beat the price. Only issue was a couple pieces on the ends of the box were cracked, but still usable. I feel like that is more a reflection on the shipping than the product itself since each had a divider between them.

Pros
  • Tailors chalks in 4 colors, different colors meet your different needs, suitable for professional tailors and home tailoring.
Cons
  • Limited lifespan if used frequently

Exactly as pictured

Even though the pieces of chalk were in separate sleeves two were broken in half but no big deal as I can still use them. Well worth the money. Will buy again

Pros
  • They brake very easy.
Cons
  • I really very disappointed because some of the pieces are broken and quality is too bad.

Learning curve in my review

Just got these one did come broken but thankfully in big useable pieces. Tested it out on a few fabrics and it did take a few try’s to get it to mark just right.

Pros
  • Excellent product. Would recommed!
Cons
  • Limited lifespan compared to other fabric marking options

Visible chalk marks

Great marking chalk for my quilting, but it did not wipe off my fabric. Tried a wet sponge but marks still on fabric. Had to wash the finished project and still saw faint chalk marks on the right side of the fabric. This does not work like regular chalk

Pros
  • Comfortable to hold and use for extended periods
Cons
  • Can leave a residue on the cutting board or work surface

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Easy to break on my review.

Two of the chalks arrived broken out of the gate. Every one I’ve used has broken during marking. They are soft enough to provide good marks on fabric, but too thin in the middle which makes them prone to breakage

Pros
  • Suitable for sewing and crafting projects
Cons
  • Can be hard to see against similar color fabrics

Doesn't crumble in my review

The tailor’s chalk is easy to hold, and its four colors are bright and visible. In order to trace a pattern onto fabric, hold the fabric taunt with your thumb and index finger of one hand as you hold the chalk and draw with the other hand. If you have a person to assist you, they can hold the fabric taunt. This is especially helpful in tracing curves, assorted angles, and straight lines.

Pros
  • Non-toxic and safe for all users
Cons
  • Can smudge or transfer onto surfaces during use

Great fabric markers.

I have tried pencils and they don’t leave a mark. These are perfect for marking. The shape makes them easy to hold. They don’t turn into powder but hold their shape.

Pros
  • Loved it. In perfect condition
Cons
  • Limited color options
