I bought 2 sets and installed the cages on a Fox32 fork to ride my bike. They worked well, but overall I had a lot of problems. I probably won't use them on my next trip. I bought two VersaCages, one for each side of the front fork. My Niner bike already had mounting points that matched the Versacage configuration, making assembly easy and secure. I just screwed them onto forks. I then connected each cage to a 10 liter Wise Owl dry bag secured with a pair of 25 inch voile straps and greatly increased the amount of stuff my bike can carry.

I took them on a 700 mile trip and they've held up great! The mounting system is fine for those who don't have a lip on the fork, but I'd recommend wrapping a few turns of tape around the fork to hold it in place. I used duct tape and as soon as it got hot the pockets started sliding down. I used voile straps instead of the ones that came with the kit. Versa Cage is a great name for this product. You can mount it almost anywhere on your bike, and it will fit almost anything that's even slightly similar in size. I have a "range extender" battery for my e-bike that fits in a bottle cage, but unfortunately it's too big to fit in a standard bottle cage.
