💦 Topvico Water Leak Alarm Sensor Detector: 110dB Alert, Waterproof (2 Pack) Review

I have tested them and they are fine. I wanted the equipment to be loud and be heard from the basement. It's excellent and just what I need.

Best water detector I have ever used. You are sensitive. I placed them on a paper towel to increase the sensor's detection area. Eventually the entire towel will get wet and the alarm will only be triggered by the water on the paper towel.

So far we only had 1 shock and the detector told us that. Loud and very simple. We have 2 in the basement and are thinking of adding 2 more for extra measures. I don't know about battery life yet, but as many have said, get a good battery and check/replace twice a year at alternate times.

I received these and was very excited as this is the only water detector I could find that 1) was LOUD 2) used a replaceable battery (9v) and 3) everything in it was one place and forget the block. Unfortunately their design is such that although they are sealed they are open at the top so water can easily damage the speaker so I now have a few that light up but no longer turn on the siren. This is problematic and annoying for me because I had to place them in a less accessible spot where sound

After a friend's house was flooded due to a malfunction in her washing machine, I was looking for easy to use alarms that would let us know if the same thing was happening in our house due to a mechanical failure or a water problem. Basement, cellar. These little alarms are easy to use. Just insert batteries and place them near a place where there may be a problem with water. Although the floor wasn't wet when I parked mine, the humidity was high and one of the alarms went off a few days later.

The plumber overtightened the connection, which caused an imperceptible slow drip when a large amount of water was poured into the sink. This is a 9V (grey) version of the alarm clock that easily unscrews from the top. I bought two of these alarm clocks to see if they are really loud. That's how it is. And is it easy to notice the flashing light? The problem with many alarm clocks is that they are not loud enough. Put them in the cabinet under the sink, you may not hear them.
