Good. first: electrics

At first I really liked these lights. Bright, inexpensive, fit well in LED packages and look good. We are now 9 months old sparkling in one of them. I know this is a symptom of a bad LED and needs to be replaced. It may only be bad, but I fear that soon they will all suffer the same fate. You don't impress me anymore. I'll replace the ones I think of and keep an eye on them. If more of them fail I will update this review.

Good product. Easy installation!

These lights are very easy to install and work great! Simply screw the wire adapter into the lamp socket, connect the two pieces of wire connector together, and then insert the LED assembly into the existing hole. A light bulb lasts less than 5 minutes! This bulb gives the very white light we wanted for our kitchen. We also bought a Lutron dimmer to dim the lights. I plan on getting more of these (but 5 inches in diameter) for other parts of our house.

  • Absolutely amazing!

Very bright natural light. Superb Quality

I have about 25 of these lights installed throughout my home and they are phenomenally bright! I have several dimmers and they also dim very low which is a bonus, absolutely no flickering at any level. One of these burned out after a day or two of not using it (it must have been defective) and Torchstar sent me a new one. However, I had to pay for the return shipping of the defective copy. All headlights are now installed and have been in use for about 6 months without any further problems…

Solves my lighting problems!

I redecorated my kitchen using six 10cm tall hats. They had a maximum lamp wattage of 50 watts, rated at 2, not enough light to show off the color in my new cabinets. There is also no backlight. I used halogen and fluorescent. They quickly burned out and became more expensive. I bought a retro LED for my Halo brand to try and found that it gives more light in the soft or warm white range. Would have survived the usual flooding with no problem but I wanted more light like daylight. These…

Excellent light. in trim

I was a bit concerned after receiving them, ordered 8 to finish my basement. Judging by the numbers, I had enough light for a medium sized living room. I hooked one up to an existing light fixture to see what the light was like when I first got it and the CFLs that were down there were pretty bad at blurring the light. I went ahead and installed the glasses and plugged everything in. I used Lutron dimmers for the switches and turned on the switch. I then turned on each light and was…

Great LED for the price!

Installed six of these at my daughter's house last week. I am a Cree LED fan and have installed many commercial LED lighting systems. I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised. Their construction is very durable. The housing is very solid and the driver unit (aka transformer (voltage conversion)/rectifier (AC to DC conversion) securely mounts to a fast LED connector for newer recessed LED jars. The retaining tabs are strong and hold well in place glass without slipping…

LED Ceiling Light - Surface

Choice of LED or halogen according to the needs of the different light sources. This LED glass conversion kit is our ultimate choice as it meets our general lighting needs and uses less than 1/8th the energy compared to the halogen light I used on the ceiling. Brightness and beam are more than satisfactory, the light is evenly distributed and flickers-free. The simple white finish of these recessed lights is very pleasing and creates great recessed ceiling lighting. It made my apartment kitchen

Pros
  • 💡100% - 10% stepless dimming, excellent dimmer compatibility, flicker-free and quiet operation

So close but too high

Easy to install, light worked well with my dimmer, slight residual flicker when off but eventually faded completely. Not sure if it's just the size of our 4" cans, but we couldn't get them to sit flush with the ceiling. Most of these LED mods really take the size to the extreme without leaving enough room to accommodate it. due to slight differences in the installation of the case. We had about 3.5 inches of space between the Edison connection and the ceiling. They show 3.43 inches from the…
