Review on Torchstar Dimmable Retrofit Lighting for Industrial Electrical Systems by Meg Manzanares

I was a bit concerned after receiving them, ordered 8 to finish my basement. Judging by the numbers, I had enough light for a medium sized living room. I hooked one up to an existing light fixture to see what the light was like when I first got it and the CFLs that were down there were pretty bad at blurring the light. I went ahead and installed the glasses and plugged everything in. I used Lutron dimmers for the switches and turned on the switch. I then turned on each light and was disappointed at how little light there was. until I realized the dimmers were all the way down. They're quite bright at full brightness. They don't buzz when dimmed like others. They are very bright white, which is probably why the CFLs washed out the test light.
