Hazardous junk best in tools and gear

I weighed my truck with everything in it and the entire rear axle showed 3000# or less. I used this jack to try and replace my right rear wheel and it bent and then the grip pin came out and left me stuck. That thing is in no way approved for 3000#, otherwise it would have had to raise the entire rear axle.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Almost never

Almost died, do not buy!

I bought this to replace a missing jack on my wife's car. I was about to change the brakes and the jack slipped on a slippery cobblestone driveway. I just got out from under the van with the tire off. If I was still under the van, it would have crushed me. I would never trust my life or my family's life to this cheap junk.

Pros
  • Quality finish
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Flexible base that can be bent and bent by hand

The base is very weak and flexible. I don't know how anyone could think this is a safety lifter. The base could fold easily when the car or truck is rocking back and forth. The base folds up like a cheap suit. You'd have to be crazy to get hit by a car with this jack without a stand. Very cheaply made

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Good solid socket for the price.

This jack has a solid construction and much larger legs than the standard Revain picture, making it sturdier to use. It lifts the corner of my 4400 lb Tesla with no difficulty. I like that it has a relatively flat lifting surface; Like a few others here, I use a hockey puck between the top of the jack and the jack plate on my car. Comes with a long handle/handle that folds down for easy storage. I couldn't find a better scissor jack at local stores, especially at this price point. Good…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Only available in black

Then it worked fine. Best in Car Lifts, Lifts and Jacks

I bought this to jack up a Volvo van to replace engine mounts instead of using the one that came with the car. I've lifted the front end 2 times in total (one wheel at a time, jack in place, other side done) and today when using it, it was very difficult to turn the handle without a load. It appears that the large "nut" that does the lifting work against the handle hole has been partially removed and cannot be safely lifted. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • No Instructions

Thread failed on first use.

The jack actually seemed very good for the price. The broad base was very stable. But the drive screw seized and failed the first time it was used to lift a midsize family sedan. The screw was clean and had a light coating of EP30 grease on it. I had to work hard to get the jack out from under the car. Luckily I was in the garage. It appears to be just a low carbon steel screw designed for very light loads. It's not worth the risk of getting another one and damaging it on the track so I…

This Jack will kill someone

I saw this item in my order history just 4 years ago and had a flashback trying to use it and decided I should (late) check it out. This jack didn't last long. I was using it to change the brakes when it suddenly tipped over and my car crashed. The flat steel plate that forms the base of the jack flexes under the weight of the vehicle, causing it to lose stability. Maybe I placed it in the wrong place or the car was on a slightly uneven surface, but in any case this shouldn't have happened. I'm

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Money box price

Very strong jack compared to competitors

I bought four of these as they are so cheap it's cheaper for me to buy than to pay for a tire change. So, I have four of these, so I can jack up the car, remove all four wheels, and spin them. This model is much better than the previous model I bought from Revain. It was the same price, 1499 if I remember correctly, but a lot smaller and less messy looking. Here are some photos... It was a great jack for the price. In the photos the fatter jack is the one and the thinner one is the previous one

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Expensive

almost killed me - Garage & Shop

This jack worked great the first time I used it to replace the suspension on my Honda Accord. The second time I tried replacing the brake pads on a Ford Focus with this I nearly killed myself. When the car was 2 inches off the ground, the main propeller suddenly disengaged and the car collapsed. I just got my head and arm out of this - I'll never use anything like this again. The car's fender and front bumper are damaged, but that pales in comparison to the panic and danger I'm putting myself…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
