The skid plate didn't last the first 1/4 of the car before it was ripped off the car and the buffing pad was scattered all over the garage. Maybe it took 30 minutes. All my other backplates I have for the Torq 10FX work great but this one just fell apart and no I wasn't putting too much pressure on it. It could be defective, but mine was. Maybe I'll get another one and see if it happens again, but I haven't bothered to get another one and use this base plate again yet.

Very cheap quality pad, broke same day. Also does not come with washers to protect the pad. You pay a premium because of the so-called brand. There is nothing special or unique about this rug. This rug is no different from other brands made in China. They are probably made in similar factories. Because of the quality, they're likely to break, so it's better to buy a different brand's multipack that actually sells for about the same price or a few dollars more. You will get a much better deal.
