Toshiba DVR620 Recorder Certified Refurbished Review

It worked as soon as it was connected to the TV. The registrar hasn't tried it yet. I don't remember if a longer cable was included to connect the Toshiba DVR620 DVD/VHS recorder, but we had to use a longer cable.

DVD works fine but VHS freezes when sending signal to TV. It could just be the VHS playback capability through the HDMI output, but I'm not sure. My TV only has an HDMI input, so I can't check the RCA output from the device. For my purposes (in my basement hall) this is enough for my needs.

I am very satisfied with this product. I bought another one a little cheaper and was very dissatisfied. I had to go back. Thought I'd give it a try and glad I did. The transfer from VHS to DVD is perfect. The only downside is that there is no button to extract VHS, you have to use the remote control. But thanks for a great product.

Very comfortable car. There is no tuner, but recording and dubbing from VHS to DVDR/RW and vice versa is very easy. The last rebuilt/repaired unit I had ran for about three years before both pickup elements failed. Unfortunately, discs burned on an older Samsung device are not compatible. Repairs can be more expensive than a new car. Check out the online manual first as the machine isn't exactly up to date. My big complaint is that they don't make them anymore.

Against my better knowledge I bought this "certified refurbished" video recorder/DVD player. Refurbished means someone else's problem is now yours. I wanted to archive old VHS tapes. Insert the first cassette. It was played normally for about 5 minutes, the playback speed was accelerated at least 3 times compared to the normal speed. Nothing I've tried fixed the problem. I've dubbed 2 DVDs from VHS and so far so good! No problem. So thankful I found and got this. I only had one VHS copy of my wedding tape and now I have 3! The instructions that came with it don't help at all. I found a YouTube video that showed me the process and it was very easy. It's roughly a 10 step process.
