Bought for a 2-disk NAS server. the first disk (a slightly different one, Toshiba 4 TB HDWQ140EZSTA) was purchased before the New Year and fit perfectly into my old QNAP TS-210 home server together with a 2 GB disk from SEAGATE. now both 4 GB disks work together in a server with mirroring (i. E. recording simultaneously on 2 disks) - a home archive accessible via wi-fi from any device on the home network.

Love the size, performance and price but very noisy. You may think the drive is bad, noisy. But it still works fine and passes the diagnostic checks, so I'm happy.

This hard drive was purchased on September 22, 2021. Installed on the day of receipt. SMART detection shows an error a day later, on September 23, 2021. return disc. I will buy an alternative brand.

A good hard drive just installed in Drobo seems to be working fine. send disk. Shipping is the reason I don't get 5 stars. I will update if there are problems.

After using this product for a year and a half I would not recommend it. I bought this and a Seagate Barracuda Pro, both have the same specs and the Seagate beats the Toshiba in speed. This Toshiba is terribly slow for storage, I wouldn't recommend it.

You can't beat the cost of this hard drive. I have 8 of these baddies installed on my Netgear ReadyNAS X628 series. is excellent. I highly recommend this product for NAS installations. Good product! Thank you Toshiba!

This is the latest version at the moment. The old version has half of the 128 MB cache, depending on the capacity of the hard disk. High-quality 3.5" 7200 rpm hard drive.
