Second best NAS hard drive

Although this 16TB hard drive was not on the compatibility list for my Synology NAS. It worked well. In DSM 7.0, writing to the array took 2 days. Compared to my 14TB which took me 2 weeks with DSM 6.2. This is a 7200 RPM hard drive with a lifespan of 1,000,000 hours or 20 years under the right conditions. (if temperatures hadn't dropped and not been high) I have a Synology NAS 1520 41TB. Mainly used for my Plex.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • May cause injury
