- Bought two of these drives for my brand new NAS. At the beginning of 2022 there was a top for the money. Fast work, large volume, the most delicious price - about 17k.
Cons
- The first discs that get so hot and rumble so much. Seriously, I've never heard those sounds. I had to hide the NAS in the farthest corner of the apartment, only not to hear it. After a year and a half, 1 disc said I'm tired, I'm leaving. Continued to work but S. M. A. R. T. on disk would no longer run, throwing an unknown error. In fact, there are no service centers in 2022. I was tormented for a month and a half while trying to hand over the faulty one to the store, but they strongly tried to send me to the ASC. In what - did not speak. I personally called all the addresses that were given in the store, and which are on the off site of Toshiba, no one deals with hard drives. Televisions, refrigerators, cassette players, phonograph records, but no HDD. The only place in the area Enthusiasts said they do hdd checks, but only for companies. Individuals under warranty - no. A month and a half later, they returned the money, and instead of Toshiba N300 HDWG180UZSVA, I bought Seagate IronWolfST8000VN004. The second N300 continues to work, I hope it will please me for many more years.
