Thank god for this work.

My horse has a high withers with a depression underneath and a spring loaded groove just behind the legs. The old girth rubbed against his legs, it was springy and went sideways. I've used this thing twice today and my horse didn't flinch or try to bite me when tied. It gave me loads of room behind his legs and I can't deny how much of an immediate difference it made. Thanks to whoever has ever done this.

Pros
  • Easy adjustment
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Buy, worth every penny.

I wasn't expecting such a neat equipment. I didn't know how significant it would be. I was wary as the price of the strap seemed insanely high but now I understand why. This solved all my girth issues as my horse was being abused making it very sensitive. She believed in its strength and I didn't have to make it very tight since it's so bulky and wide. She became a different mare.

I don't like useless devices and I keep things as simple as possible

I was skeptical about these straps at first. But after using it on my Tennessee Walker for the last 6 months I've become a fan. I don't like useless devices and I keep everything as simple as possible. I noticed that my horse's movements became more fluid. I like that they are easy to clean too. I wish they had sizes for pony sized horses as I have a 13.3" Mustang that I train and with her saddle she needs a 20" circumference.

Pros
  • Hands-free working
Cons
  • Good but not great

Excellent kink! on Saddles & Accessories

I've used this saddle a few times now and am very happy with it! I have been using similarly shaped girths for my dressage and A/P saddles for several years and was very happy to finally see a girth made for my western saddle. The quality of the leather is excellent and my horse seems very comfortable in it, especially with the soft neoprene next to his delicate skin. The roller buckles are comfortable and they came in brown which matches my Tucker trail saddle perfectly! A big plus is that it…

Must be! Especially if you have gaited horses!

Wow! Love-love-love this strap! If you have trekking horses this is a must! My entrance MFT mare is a sensitive horse with a short back and small withers. Finally found a suitable saddle, then there was a problem with the spring-loaded straps. I tried so many different braces for this girl and each one ended up riding up her elbow and pinching her making her uncomfortable. Or worse, upset them. I can't believe the difference in my mare's behavior and everything else. She moves much more freely…

This is a really innovative and great alternative to most braces

This is a really innovative and great alternative to most braces. I had harnesses for riding horses that had to be made of the best materials and lined for cross-country riding. This product looked like the end of the entire braces industry. The company representative was really professional. The dressage girth the company makes looks incredible, with padding and rounded edges. The western belt is the most expensive. It had no rounded edges and had little to no padding. The padding is velcro…

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Needs revision: causes gas the size of a golf ball

I bought the fleece lined version of this harness just over a month ago. It was used for workouts of 30 minutes to 1 hour, 5 days a week. At first I was impressed that my horse was able to gain weight more easily at the trot. However, it turned out that the durable leather-fleece lining on the outside had lost its central padding in the short period of use. At the first horse show I attended after purchasing a girth, my horse developed a golf ball sized knot at the center girth line. I'm so…

Seems to be taking it much better than my previous girths (Proven Fleece

I bought the western fleece hoping that my tight, 'cold' horse would be helped with this new concept. It seems so very accepted better than my previous springs (tried fleece, mohair, neoprene) only tried them a couple of times but was very impressed, made sure not to get too long and the saddle stretched a lot with this harness feels safer. The horse I bought it for needs gait and shoulder room and that seems ok.When I first saw the advert for the product I was under the impression that there is

$180 down the drain and only girls to show it

I like the concept of this product. Actual usage is very annoying. I first bought a 28 inch spring liner with a neoprene lining. This is the right size for my mare. After a relatively easy drive, I found three galls. Maybe the neoprene was to blame. I let the wounds heal and bought a fleece pad of the right size. After making this change, I took my mare back for another easy walk. I have never had this problem, even with much cheaper and innovative harnesses. I spent $180 on this product and I…
