This pipe is a little undersized. I bought a new cat (which fits snugly over my 3” stock exhaust) this pipe fits so loosely in the cat that I will have to expand the ends before I can weld it in to the cat. Quality of the pipe is excellent otherwise.

I found that this pipe was delivered quickly and was made as advertised. The 2in. O.D. fit into my new Thrush muffler (purchased thru ebay) and along with the stainless steel clamps (also from an ebay seller) gave me a very clean and good looking muffler/tailpipe assembly. Can't wait until my '51 2 ton Chevy is rewired and can be fired up!

Very nice product, should work just fine for my exhaust. Exhaust pipe was packaged inside a clear plastic sleeve and then inside a box! Very impressed with the way they had packed it. GREAT JOB. I would most definitely buy from these people again!

It was as advertised, although no mention that the pipe has a seam I think I’ll go 304 seamless next time because the welds just don’t look as good on this 409

I'm so sorry for the lateness of trying to return this items but I am now settling in after two weeks of searching for a new apartment after the fire had made it very difficult to organize myself to be able to return these items I'm truly grateful if you will accept my humble apology and understanding what my situation was and is now. Shipped after 2 weeks when it was on prime for 2 days. It said it shipped from CA, but shipped from KY. Over all the pipe is thick, stainless and actually polished sort of. Despite the shipping issue and being 2 weeks late, I’m happy.

There are a lot of negative reviews for this product, however I made my second order of this for practicing tig welding. I do know though that 304 stainless steel is not magnetic, 409 stainless is magnetic. 409 has great corrosion properties granted it is welded with the correct filler and gas, the pipe will oxidize and slightly rust over time on the surface whereas 304 will not. The other reviews make me uncertain, but I’m happy with their piping. Inside is clean and not full of oil and metal…

Size, shape and function are perfect, but I noticed that the tube discolored quickly after running the engine/heating a few times. That section of the exhaust is now a much darker color than the rest of my stainless steel exhaust system. No rust though, so I think it is stainless.

It's fine. It worked great. Not the highest quality steel but I'd expect to pay more if it was. It's very easy to cut and work with.
