    I wanted to spread kosher salt like a pro. Slide the lid off, take a pinch, raise your hand over the food and let it snap. Ideal.

    Solid cheap salt shaker

    So much more practical than a salt shaker. The lid stays closed, but can be easily opened if necessary. Looks good on the counter. My only complaint is that it's so light it slides easily across the counter, but I wasn't expecting it to be hefty at $10.

    Perfect to make you feel like a chef

    We got this because I wanted to be a fashionable person and have my salt like they do on TV. Lol It works great and actually made measuring salt a lot easier. Plus, it looks nice and isn't huge or sticky. The quality is excellent, I think it will last a long time.

    Beautiful and useful!

    I'm so glad I made this purchase! It's a beautiful and sturdy build that's packed with lots of salt (or whatever you choose to add). The only thing I would say is that I would engrave the writing on the lid more as it just looks like it was very easily lasered or printed.

    Great find, will be buying as a gift

    I was very surprised when I received it, it is very durable and looks beautiful. Perfect size for salt and fits snugly on my stove. I recommend for myself and as a gift for everyone! It pivots and then easily returns to the closed position. I think you can use other seasonings, but I chose heavy kosher salt.

It's very attractive on the countertop, but I've found that by working with a pinch of salt, I actually use less salt when cooking. However, the result is tastier products.     I wanted a different salt shaker for my Maldon Sea Salt Cereal and I liked this one. He met and even exceeded expectations. There are no strange smells (for me), so after washing and drying I poured salt flakes and put them on the service. The magnetic clasp is perfect but doesn't close too tightly. The engraved lid adds a little whimsy and flair to my kitchen counter.

    Good fit and finish. Sleek, well made, airtight to the touch, the magnet gets the job done without being impractical. I don't know why I didn't buy a salt shaker sooner. So far I have no complaints about this. Pros: Looks good, hinged lid swings smoothly, magnet holds just the right amount, just the right size for my fat fingers without taking up extra counter space. Cons: I can't think of anything.
