Totes Automatic Water Resistant Foldable Protection Umbrellas and Folding Umbrellas Review

I always bought tote umbrellas. They lasted for years. Before, which I bought on May 31, 2018, which is 10 months ago. Since I have a lot of tote umbrellas, I didn't even use this one very often. But today it broke. Not when I left the house in the rain, but when I left the meeting in very heavy rain. I had to take a $22 cab to go home. What happened to the quality, bags used to be the best?

This was a replacement for a totes umbrella I had for years that broke due to external force. I've always loved Totes' auto open/close feature. However, this was defective. The fabric was stiff and very wrinkled. Even though the umbrella opened and closed, it was almost impossible to roll it up because the velcro strap holding it together wasn't long enough to wrap the entire fabric. 5 stars for the rainbow umbrella. 3 stars for the blue umbrella. Easy opening and closing with a button on the handle. I wanted the umbrella to be easy to open and close so my daughters wouldn't be able to use it. The close button closes the dome. After that, you still have to push it against the handle until it clicks. This part requires a bit of strength and is too hard for my 7 year old but certainly fit my 10 year old.
