I like that it has multiple light control options. You can switch it to flashing lights, multicolor and white... However, the remote control doesn't work.

Looks great on the Christmas tree! I like that you can have both white and multicolored lights. The remote control doesn't work that well, needs to be very close to the power plug. I liked that the lanterns are on a wire instead of sticking out, they were very easy to hang from a tree and the price was perfect.

I got them about 2-3 weeks ago and put them up 2 days before Thanksgiving. Worked great for a few days and now the light just stays on and the remote doesn't work to turn it on or off or any other function. I thought maybe the button on the cable was for resetting, but it didn't work. I wish it would work because the timer was definitely a plus.

I have a feeling this product was designed to be easy to confuse. When I received it... it was confused. It took me 2 hours to untie the knots. The cable is flat and difficult to work with. Then when I started to put my Christmas tree on, it got tangled up again. So it's very frustrating and I think I cursed it a few times. It looks great on my tree, but I know it's going to be a nightmare to take off. Maybe I'll cut the damn thing off the tree out of desperation.

As many reviews say, untangling these lights is a nightmare. Then when you attach the tree you have to be very careful or they will turn back into a tangled ball! Put them on a roll for goodness sake! Also, my remote doesn't work, so I have to press the button on the outlet behind the tree to change the lighting modes.
