👑 Neoprene Padded Halter with Antique Hardware Lead Set - Tough 1 Review

Received this because I was picking up my horse from the stables when COVID started and we had to provide our own ropes and halters to keep contact to a minimum. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just functional. It's very well made for the price and even fits a half-harness horse I ride sometimes. Good value for money.

This is for a full size horse. Although the product appears to be of decent quality, as soon as I received it I found that it was too big for our pony. The product description does not say so. Now I have to pay for return shipping as the product doesn't have a size option.

This item looks nice but is very cheap compared to my other leashes and leashes. I like the color of the material and fittings, but my horse's halter snapped on the third put on, and then not long ago the lead rope snapped, completely tangled with the hook. Wouldn't buy again.

I like the padded holster but as others have mentioned it has gotten a little rusty over the midwest winter despite being stored in a tackle box but the most disappointing thing was that i used a leash rope 3 times and it uncoiled on click allowing my 16 hour lively gelding to live as if the gate had been left open because it was due to me holding it by the lead rope. that turned out.

Don't give your money away! Upon arrival, the clasp on the end of the leash and the clasp on the halter are very difficult to open. I was never able to fully undo the buckle on the lead rope. Sometimes it didn't even open wide enough to get the holster's metal ring through when you tried to connect it to the holster. Also, the leash clasp completely detached from the cotton leash after my mare pulled on the leash while tying it up. I've only had this set for two months!

Normal quality halter but I wouldn't use it on a horse that is naughty when tethered. Not mine, so no problem. However, she is a bit tough. The rope is not very good.
