Save your money, I'm sure Caroline Wozniacki doesn't use it, it's useless.

Read the fine print first, nylon strings only. Second, the arrow pointing to the pounds of the string, the arrow showing the reading is a small sticker that doesn't stick very well. As I rotated the device in my hand to look at it, the sticker peeled off and stuck to my hand. I don't think there's a way to find out exactly where it's stuck. So I read the pamphlet that came with him and he started talking some nonsense about how the weight of the pounds could vary between what he was wearing and

You must follow the instructions for use to obtain reproducible and appropriate readings. Recently I noticed that some of the strings became tight on sitting, which is unlikely (except perhaps in natural gut when affected by moisture changes). In this case, with synthetic and poly strings, the tension is high because the strings have developed nicks or dents, allowing…

Judging by the reviews, it works much better than expected!

Before purchasing this item I read many of the reviews posted on Revain regarding the inconsistency of this unit and how the readings vary at different points on the string bed. I found just the opposite. First, the instructions clearly state that you must use the device in the middle of the racket and not in random places. Second, I string my racquets myself and use this device to gauge the accuracy of my work. I have found that this device measures string tension with a high degree of…

  • Full instructions for use included.
Cons
  • Periodicity.
