I installed this myself and it worked great on my 2010 Jetta. The only difficulty is routing to the trunk. I used a snake I bought from Harbor Tools. They also had a plastic sleeve which I used to protect the wire.

Great product. Works as it should. My tip: Buy crimping pliers for connectors. I screwed them up trying to get by with flimsy pliers and had to buy new ones at my local auto parts store.

Wire quality seems pretty good, although I think a solid core would be better for the application. The quality of the plugs is not very good. Next time I'd just buy a spool with better wire and some better connectors, but for the price it's good enough.
