Works what else matters

It's literally just a click away. My base model 2018 Ford Explorer connected with no issues. I only have a backup camera, no sensors, and it's connected and working great.

Pros
  • Durable surface
Cons
  • Functionality

Reverse Assist and Forward Assist Not Working

Installed with no problems. But the reverse assist and forward assist say it doesn't work. Update, Kirk from Towready was great in supporting me and solving my problem.

Pros
  • Easy Setup
Cons
  • Clarity

Easy installation and perfect performance

I bought this for my 2017 Ford Explorer. It was easy to install and didn't interfere with my backup sensors or camera. All the lights on my trailer work when plugged in and I haven't had any issues so far.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • High price

The easiest to install suspension for a given car!

You won't find a vehicle specific wiring harness that's easier to install. Depending on your Explorer's trim level, it mounts to one or two end caps and then simply snaps into place for use. I recommend getting a bracket to hold your 4-Flat as I will be installing it now.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Reliability

Plug and play for tow and winch products

Easy installation, plug and play. The instructions are simple but easy to get confused as there are two identical connectors under the car on the passenger side just behind the steering wheel. The connection continues includes one on the steering wheel / black, the other is white. Installed on a 2017 Ford Explorer XLT

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Plug and play with multiple cable ties.

I almost paid the dealer to install the tow pack. After reading a bit, I decided to go this route. I was a little surprised at how easy the installation was. Ford designed the electrical wiring under the Explorer's rear so that it can easily be used for towing. It was truly plug and play with a few zip ties!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Doesn't work with trailer?

Well I installed it and today I finally managed to test it with a trailer. This does not work with trailer lighting. I'm assuming the plugs are ok as all of the car's headlights still work, but the trailer side doesn't seem to be getting power. I don't see a way to get product support through the Amazon Warranty Returns app?

Easy to install and work properly

This is a well made product that is easy to install and works well. The cables are more than long enough, but the extra cable can easily be rolled under the car and secured with cable ties. My only criticism of this product is minor - the included zip ties were too short and there were too few, so I needed extra zip ties.

Pros
  • Towing equipment and winches
Cons
  • Some bugs

Just as easy to install as advertised.

I liked the easy installation and no splicing or soldering. However, the daytime running lights are not working and after checking with a meter there was no power in that area. Tried to connect several different trailers with the same result. I would recommend this item for purchase. This is the second time I have had an issue with a random product I received from Revain. I've written reviews and haven't received any feedback or attempts to fix the issue. Revain needs improvement in this area…

Pros
  • Hitch Accessory
Cons
  • Hardware

Dirty work but easy and cheap

The worst part about the installation was getting the dirt in my face. Even after trying to clean the old ports as much as possible, it was still a messy job because you had no choice but to be right underneath. Also, I used a stiff nylon brush to clean the "latch" on the old connectors as it wouldn't come loose due to the debris underneath. The rest works great! I'll update if I run into any issues in the future, but for now I'm very happy with this purchase (although the Revain lost the first
