Toyota 1996 2002 4Runner Speaker Adapter Review

I reused the original factory parts and later returned them. By now they should have transferred the money back to my account. Will check later if they did.

Replaced the front and rear speakers with the required adapters from this company and they worked great! The adapters were accurate and easy to install. The support team was also very helpful with a few questions.

This is for the base 1998 Toyota 4Runner 2.7 liter 4 cylinder engine, rear wheel drive. Front doors LF "front left" and RF "front right". Is there for 6.5 inch speakers. They work great and are much better than the original plastic.

Perfect fit for 2001 4runner Limited. The screw holes matched the factory door brackets perfectly. The plastic is soft enough to be easily modified or pilot holes drilled, but seems strong enough to last a long time. I would recommend putting a neutral hardness bead on the mating surface to avoid buzzing, just in case. In addition, the raised ring points away from the door. This is not a one-piece ring, but its advantage is that it allows wires to be routed without the need for cutting.
