Fits Avalon 2011

Local dealer said this part cannot be replaced. They said to go to the collision center where they would drill out the rivets on the tank door, put a new door in, and then paint the door. It looked like an exact match to the broken part to me, so I decided to take a chance and order it. Not only an exact match, but removing the old one and installing the new one took 20 seconds.

Pros
  • Direct Fit
Cons
  • Good but not great

This is NOT a 2007 Toyota Highlander V6 part

Although this part is different from the 2007 Toyota Highlander V6 OEM part I was able to fit it and it has worked for the past few months. It's a little loose and if you're worried about it falling out you can use hot glue or maybe even epoxy to stick it on. I didn't glue mine on and it's still there and working fine, but be aware it's not an OEM part.

Pros
  • Original factory part
Cons
  • I will write later

Not for 2012 RAV4

It says it was made for Toyota so I bought it. I have a 2012 Toyota Rav4 and it's too small. This was one of the people who mentioned that it doesn't work for their Rav4 but didn't mention the year of release. I still took the risk. If you want it to fit your car, you need to provide the vin number and call the nearest Toyota dealer. I called them, gave them my information and they ordered the right one for my car and it was the same price as here. So if you have a Rav4, I recommend you buy…

Pros
  • Japan
Cons
  • Band
