Toyota 77740 06093 Charcoal Canister Assembly Review

The part works great. My mechanic installed it and then reset the check engine light. I drove the car about 150 miles and the lights were off so I took the car for a smog test which it passed. Good thing and I'm glad it worked. Note that my 1999 Toyota Camry V6 LE was made in Japan (VIN starts with "JT").

I only ordered this product because Revain themselves said it would fit my 1999 Toyota Solara but upon receipt it was not an exact replacement. I took a closer look and it seems that there is an 'early' and a 'late' version of this part. My car has an "early" version, but this turned out to be "late". At first glance they're virtually indistinguishable, but the VSV sensors aren't the same and I didn't install them for fear that my car's computer wouldn't read them properly. This product is…
