📶 High-performance WiFi Router Review

I've been using an Asus RT-AX86U router for a few months and decided to order this TP Link AX90 as it has two 5GHz bands has. The problem is that I can only receive the 5 GHz 1-band (36-48 channels at 80 Mhz) at around 400-500 Mbit/s, while in the 5 GHz 2-band (100-128 DBS channels at 160 MHz) can reach my full speed of 800 Mbit/s. I bought a new Verizon wireless router/hub last year and it has had consistent quality issues. I tried to solve this with Verizon but couldn't solve the problem. Using AT&T 1Gbps fiber. Replaced an expensive premium brand WiFi 5 mesh that was struggling with 50+ devices. Unsurprisingly, WiFi 6 devices are extremely fast. A pleasant surprise is that older Wi-Fi devices have greatly increased speeds. On a Peloton bike, which I believe only runs at 2.4Ghz, the Peloton speed test never went above 60MB/s despite the 1GB fiber and was typically around 30-40MB/s more optical Service. I bought this router to fix a 2.4GHz stability issue on an Asus router. At first it seemed to work fine, but now the 2.4GHz network is shutting down and reconnecting 20-30 times a day. 5hz works fine.

I've Tried Router After Router. I love TP Link and have tried most of their products. This one is no better and/or more stable, the speed here is slower than that of the dual-band AX6000. Nor did it cover the same area. As such I wouldn't recommend this router as a replacement for the AX6000 and don't think it's any better than what you have.
