Pleasantly SURPRISED and impressed by this little device!

I was looking in the Zone for an amp for my garage stereo (4 satellite/bookshelf speakers and an 8" subwoofer) and this was the only unit I had with a dedicated subwoofer output found. Crossover and EQ controls small enough to fit in the top shelf of my toolbox. Didn't expect much - I set everything up and was surprised! That little JAMS thing! I've let it run for hours at a volume well above call volume and it never missed a beat. No overheating, no clipping, just amazing sounds. This is one…

Ideal for semi-audiophiles

I've been looking for a new audio system for my desktop PC for too long. After taking a picture (carefully examined) on a PC 2.1 setup, I hated the sound quality for music. With games and movies it was good but not great. So I said hell with that, let's go down a more personal path. Paired with Elac B6 speakers and a 10" subwoofer, this amp is perfect. This unit has all the necessary settings compared to similar small desktop amps, including an individual subwoofer and volume control. Not only…

See for yourself: Home audio

The tb20a is paired with a d10 DAC and FX tube preamp. Polk Signature S10 speakers with traditional Yamaha passive subwoofer. Professional gold speaker cable with non-standard Qed performance 40 as connecting cable. I won't say much about the sound. but there was no hiss, hum, pop or pop on startup. Shutdown didn't work either. All pens worked. The sound seems better when a subwoofer is connected. I think I got my money's worth by the way. below does not include hybrid digital amplifier nad…

I liked it so much that I immediately bought a second one

[Review of the non-Bluetooth version] This replaced the old amplifier in the system, which was humming and a bit annoying. This new device doesn't buzz or buzz at all until you turn it on to the Neighbors Call The Police level. So I think it's reasonable. The second one I bought replaced the Kenwood app. The old one got HOT if it listened to loud music for a while and always bothered me. My guess is that this Fosi amp doesn't get very hot because it's class D. The sound quality is better than…

Pure power and flat response

I chose this amp over other amps and bluetooth receivers as I have seen a flatter response than others (approx 20Hz-20kHz +/-1dB). The power output met my needs too, and the EQ and aux channel were a bonus. Haven't tried the extra channel yet, but when I turn the frequency knob I can't hear it doing anything with the crossover. You may need to hook up a subwoofer to hear the difference, idk. I wish the EQ had a notch and a pronounced mid so you know exactly where the mid is. In addition, the…

Excellent customer service.

I liked this amp for a little over two months that it worked. I ran it in a desktop 2.1 configuration with a Fosi DAC from my PC and two BIC America DV52si bookshelf speakers and a Klipsch Synergy Black Label Sub-100 subwoofer. I had the best PC setup audio I have ever experienced as it only came from 2.0 and 2.1 powered PC speakers. Since I had an active subwoofer with no high-level inputs, I also used a high-level to line conversion. Everything worked fine for a while. Then suddenly I heard…

Excellent 2.1 speaker + subwoofer

This speaker amp works very well. I hooked up 2 x 6 ohm 120w speakers and a 130w subwoofer and they sound great. SUMMARY: I had a 5.1 surround sound system (2010 model) but the receiver died. The speakers I had for this were connected using bare speaker wire compression connectors (no banana or RCA plugs). This amp had the connections I needed for these speakers. I bought some banana plugs to help set it up (I would recommend this one). I'm not an audio expert so I can't tell you how it…

Pros

Cons
  • Contact Seller

I used to have a good receiver for my Micca MB-42x and a subwoofer. But that died and I needed 2.1 amps since my subwoofer was a passive device. That's how I came across this interesting amp. I liked how you can fine-tune the sound parameters by simply turning the knobs. When I had a receiver, I had to push a lot of buttons to set it up. As soon as I plugged it in, I heard a faint buzzing noise. However, once I played the sound, it sounded great. But when it was quiet, that rumble continued…
