Worked great

I had to fiddle around and it's a bunch of worms as many of us know only too well. did a great job with the receiver on one end and two people labeled wires, tested many cables for continuity and as always found two dogs, replaced them, connected and worked so the product did an excellent job. I've used much cheaper ones and am often unsure if the block or wire is defective, so many get thrown away, as long as it's reliable I keep it in my tool box. recommended.

Great device for locating active cables

Great little kit that charges very quickly. I love that they slide together to stay in place when not in use. I ran speaker wire under my house and I could tell which wire is which! This is great for that and has an adapter. It helped a lot to find an active cable around my house, but there wasn't an adapter in the kit that I had to buy. I would give 5 stars if it was included as that was the purpose of getting this. In addition, it is very easy to use and very effective in locating live wires.

Good luck finding out.

Looks nice but I think you need to be a networking expert to know how to use it. I know a little but I can't figure out how to use it. The instructions are so incredibly vague that they're useless. I just wanted to test a bunch of cables I was running and it was supposed to be a tester but I had no idea how to use it. The instructions usually contain a disclaimer and are legal. Most of them say that you need to judge the state of the connection by the behavior of the indicators. Really helps…
