Not just for cars

I put this in my daughter's backpack. I live in a bad neighborhood and my daughter walks home. I think it definitely increases their safety level and helps relieve stress.

As expected: GPS, finder and accessories

I have a Garmin Nuvi 780 (4.3 inch screen) and it fits. There is plenty of room in the bag, although not all cables and accessories will fit (Picture can be deceptive depending on model/cable size/mount type.) This bag conveniently accommodates GPS, USB cables and other small accessories. It does not fit for window mount (suction cup) or power supply (my model) without stuffing it. Enough space for your NUVI and a spare power cord

There are two types of GPS carrying cases. There are small, lightweight cases that clip to your belt and are great for carrying your device when you're leaving your car for a while and don't want to leave your GPS to tempt thieves. Buy something else and here's why

What it is: A large case that fits a GPS navigator and some cables. What it isn't: Well constructed not to damage GPS. Why: The padded insert, which is "designed" to be where the GPS module belongs, has a rounded edge, but it should hold the flat object securely. The device (Garmin 1390) cannot be mounted securely without modifying the housing. The GPS should NOT fit in the top mesh screen pocket.
